Mike McNeil Organization was founded in 2009 in honor of our great friend Michael Joseph McNeil, who passed away at the age of 27 from a rare form of cancer called Pheochromocytoma. Mike was an inspiration to all who had the privilege to meet him, and was always living life to the fullest. The Mike McNeil Organization has donated over $50,000 towards one day finding a cure for cancer.

Our goal is to make sure everyone has a fun, unforgettable and safe time at each of our events – while raising funds to one day find a cure for cancer.

Mike McNeil Organization is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization recognized by the U.S. federal government and all donations are tax deductible.

What started as a small gathering of friends has become a beloved annual tradition. Mike McNeil’s: Crawl For A Cure brings the Lowell community together for a night of fun, fundraising, and honoring a life that continues to inspire.

Each year, this citywide bar crawl raises money for cancer research in Mike’s name—supporting organizations like Massachusetts General Hospital, where Mike received care during his 17-year battle with a rare cancer. Despite everything he faced, Mike lived with strength, humor, and heart. This event is our way of carrying that spirit forward.

Organized by his friends, family, and fraternity brothers, the crawl blends celebration and purpose—turning every pint into progress toward a cure.
